The Sisters of Providence have a kindergarten in Iasi that welcomes 120 children. It is necessary to give educational continuity by starting primary school because we are in a peripheral area of the city.
At the moment an area of the house has been renovated to be used as a classroom. So in September 2021 it will be possible to start school.
Iasi is one of the main cities of Romania. The migratory phenomenon means that many children find themselves at home educated by their grandparents, because their parents are abroad. In addition, the school area is peripheral where there is still a lot of poverty.
The donation money will help families bring their children to school. The donation integrates the small contribution that the family can make.
