Feast of Saint Luigi Scrosoppi

Dearest friends,
on October 5th we will celebrate the liturgical solemnity of our Father Saint Luigi Scrosoppi. It is a moment of celebration that unites us in prayer and active charity, to remember his holy life and his tireless gift of self to God and to our brothers and sisters.

His testimony continues to inspire and engage so many people today who, following his example, become charity through small gestures, care, and tangible signs of love. It is a network of goodness that, also thanks to your generosity, supports the projects of our missions across different parts of the world, where the Charism of Providence has found fertile ground to take root and bear fruit.

It is wonderful, on this feast day, to give thanks to the Lord for the abundance of good that is being sown: a goodness that reaches many little ones and the poor, relieves suffering, opens pathways of hope, and restores dignity and trust.

Thank you, too, for whatever you are able to give, for your closeness, and for every gesture made with a generous and charitable heart. Every gift, whether small or large, becomes a sign of Providence and helps keep alive that flame which Saint Luigi entrusted to us:

«Charity, charity, save souls with charity».

Let us entrust to Saint Luigi our every desire for good and ask him to teach us to recognize the face of Christ in the little ones and the poor, and to let ourselves be involved with concrete love.
